PrintTX 2015
Organized by PrintMatters
PrintTX 2015 showcases the juried works of Texas artists. Work varies from lithography, relief, intaglio, monotype to serigraphy. PrintTX 2015 is the major exhibition of PrintHouston, the annual summer-long celebration of original prints, the artists who create them, and the people who collect them.
This year’s juror Karen Kunc lives and works in Avoca, Nebraska. Her prints have been exhibited and collected by numerous museums including the National Museum of Art at the Smithsonian, the Museum of Modern Art, NYC, and the J. Paul Getty Museum, LA, along with a long list of corporations and private collectors.
PrintMatters is a Houston-based arts organization whose mission is to promote traditional and non-traditional printmaking, encourage print collecting, and facilitate the professional growth of their members.
